1965: Michael Hiltner, a proud member of the Santa Monica Cycling Club, brought back from Florence an armload of Italian wool jerseys made, according to his design, with alternating rows of yellow and black yarn, for the 1962 Tour du St. Laurent team from California.
Note: his car's club-color racing stripes. The Paragon bike, offered and custom-built by Lars Zebroski, the skilled framebuilder.
